Press Release
Clarifying the correct political positions and errors contained in the press headline published on the pages of Al Jazeera Mubasher:
On January 15, 2024 AD, at exactly six o’clock in the evening, Sudan time, Al Jazeera Mubasher channel hosted Commander Malik Aqar, Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, and head of the People’s Movement “Revolutionary Front.” Immediately after the episode ended, the channel published a surprising press text on its official pages, which we quote and publish it as they reported, “Malik Agar: The Sudanese army committed violations during the ongoing war,” and accordingly we say to Sudanese public opinion the following:
This text is incorrect, and was not mentioned in any statement by Commander Malik Aqar, the publication in this wording has caused confusion throughout the political and media spaces, and the facts become clear when you return to watch the episode, and so far we have not found an explanation for the text being presented in this distorted form that violates the rules of professionalism from Al Jazeera Channel, and they must explain the purpose behind this; also they must be professional in reporting the news, and we write this clarification for the Sudanese people.
We reaffirm that our position in support of the Armed Forces in their legitimate defense of the unity of Sudan, its sovereign decision, and the dignity of the people will not change at all, and we will stand together on the lines of resistance to the project of alienation Sudanese resources and violating civil and military institutions, places of worship, popular housing, and all condemned crimes of genocide, which are practiced by the Rapid Support Militia by supporting of its allies inside and outside Sudan.
Saad Mohamed Abdalla
The Official Spokesman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – North (Revolutionary Front)
