Press statement by the Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Army, Leadership Council, Port Sudan, today, Tuesday, November 14, 2023

In his first statement, the Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement “Leadership Council,” Ali Mohamed Hamid Shakoush, said that their forces are still fighting with the Armed Forces to defeat the rebellion, and that there is a major conspiracy against the country, and that this war is against the entire Sudanese people.

The Sudanese Army faced this war bravely and strength that incapacitated the opponents, and thwarted two plans led by foreign countries with the help of some of the people of Sudan, calling for them to break away from narrow political affiliations and stand as one unit to serve Sudan.

He expressed his concern about the displaced people in the camps, who are paying the price of these conspiracies in death and displacement, and said that one of the threats facing the Darfur region is the cessation of agriculture and grazing.
This came during press statements to the Official Spokesman’s Platform in Port Sudan today.

He affirmed the full support of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement Forces – the Leadership Council – with the Armed Forces to eliminate the Rapid Support Militia, throughout the country.

In addition, he extended his greetings to his forces, appreciating their sacrifices in the 16th Infantry Division in Nyala city, and in the 21st Zalingei Division. He also saluted his forces participating in the 6th Infantry Division, El Fasher, and the heroes of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, the Leadership Council within the General Command, where they participated with their brothers in the armed forces side by side from the first day of the war and they remained steadfast there and became trusted by the senior leadership in the General Command, he also saluted the Sudanese people in general and the displaced people in particular in all the displaced and refugee camps and all those who were patient with the crimes of the militias in Khartoum State and South, West and Central Darfur.
