Today, in the Gabonese capital, Libreville, His Excellency the President, General Brice Olégé Nguema, received Marine Engineer Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jabir, member of the Sovereignty Council and envoy of the President of the Council, who arrived today in the capital of the Republic of Gabon, carrying a written message from the President of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to the Gabonese President.
The member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Jabir, explained in a press statement that “the message aims to inform African leaders of developments in the situation in Sudan and the challenges it faces as a result of the rebellion of the Rapid Support Militia,” indicating that the visit comes as part of an African tour to enhance coordination and joint cooperation between the countries of the region to achieve security, stability and development.
