The President of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with the member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi, where the meeting touched on the operational situation in light of the movements undertaken by the Armed Forces to defeat the rebellion of the terrorist Rapid Support militia on the Country.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces received additional brief from his Deputy about the position of operations and the recent successes achieved by the Armed Forces in confronting the dissolved Rapid Support Militia rebels, stressing the intention of the Armed Forces to defeat this oppressive group and restore peace, security and stability in the country.
