The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, made an inspection visit to the 19th Infantry Division in the Northern State.
He was received by the Commander of the Nineteenth Infantry Division and unit commanders.
His Excellency received a briefing from the Division Commander, followed by a meeting with non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division, in which he praised the roles of the Division and its members in the Battle of Karama (Battle of Dignity).
His Excellency had asked blessing for the souls of the martyrs and saluted the fighters who thwarted the plan of treachery and betrayal by the terrorist group led by the two brothers. His Excellency stressed that the Armed Forces are fighting the battle of dignity and that all the Sudanese people are fighting with them, and this was demonstrated by the supporting of the citizens of the region to the 19th Infantry Division, who represent all of Sudan.
His Excellency explained that some politicians lie and mislead in support of the rebel militia, but the Army is fighting in the name of Sudan with the strong support of the entire people and there are no parties, but loyalty is to the homeland alone.
The Commander-in-Chief explained that some politicians seek power, even if it is at the expense of the country and its people. He stated that the Armed Forces were fighting mercenaries from all directions who were used by the terrorist militia, they violated the honors of citizens and took lives for reasons that were not based on logic.
His Excellency concluded by affirming the victory of the Armed Forces because they are right and supported by the Sudanese people, pointing out that the actual end of this battle will be the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the war.
