El Fasher: The Official Spokesman’s Platform
The machines and equipment for issuing the electronic passport arrived to the city of El Fasher today.
The Darfur Region Government held a ceremony at the Governor’s Headquarters in El Fasher to hand over the equipment to the North Darfur State Police, in the presence of the Secretary of the Darfur Region Government, and the Secretary of North and South Darfur.
It is expected that the machines will be installed within the next two days and work will begin on issuing the electronic passport for citizens of the region.
