In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Sudanese General Intelligence Authority

Press Release
Khartoum on October 12, 2023

With reference to the news reported by Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper in its issue dated October 12, 2023, in which it was reported that a meeting had taken place between the Director of the General Intelligence Authority, Mr. Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, and what it described as the legal advisor to the terrorist Rapid Support Militia in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, we would like to clarify the following. :
No meeting of any kind took place between the Director of the Sudanese General Intelligence Authority and any of the members of the terrorist rebel militia anywhere in the world, and we confirm that all the details contained in this false news are fabricated.
It is clear from the wording of the news that it lacks professional elements, that it does not mention any known source that can be trusted or referred to.
It is noted that the media bodies that serve the line of the terrorist rebel militia deliberately create such false news whenever the armed forces advance in the field for the purpose of achieving political goals and to raise the low morale of the leaders and members of the terrorist rebel militia due to the defeats they receive in the field.
We affirm that our position is known to everyone and what the Authority has been saying in public since the first moment of the outbreak of the rebellion is to defend the security and unity of Sudan and the safety of its land and people by standing alongside its regular forces.
In conclusion, we affirm that what was published is a complete lie and slander that has nothing to do with the truth, and that such methods have become clear and do not deceive the intelligence of our conscious people and only serve their enemies whom they have come to know well.
May God protect Sudan and its people, and shame and disgrace to its enemies and their supporters
