The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Mubarak Abdel-Rahman Ardoul, called for the need to intensify efforts to open the gold trading market in River Nile State in the near future to achieve more control over the movement of trading and legalization of gold metal.

This came when Ardoul reviewed the performance of the state committee supervising the follow-up of the establishment of gold trading markets in River Nile State through a meeting held this afternoon at the Company’s office buildings in the state.

For his part, the Director of the Office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited in the River Nile State, and the Head of the Committee in charge, Moataz Haj Nour Mohamed, said in statements after the meeting that the Committee provided additional brief to the Director-General. He stressed that the opening of the gold trading market in the state will constitute an addition to the state and national economy, and is a great opportunity to preserve export earnings and support the national economy, in addition to contributing to the processes of controlling and monitoring the state’s production of gold metal.
In this context, the Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mubarak Ardoul, inspected the buildings of the gold trading market in the city of Atbara, the land port, to determine the progress of work and the necessary arrangements.
