The Armed Forces issue a statement confirming that the Armed Forces have no relation to the fabricated video of captives being killed in cold blood
Khartoum: The Official Spokesman’s Platform
The Armed Forces issued a statement confirming that the Armed Forces had no relation to the fabricated video of captives being killed in cold blood, which was promoted by the paid media rooms of the rebel Rapid Support militia. The following is the text of the statement:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
General Command of the Armed Forces
Thursday, October 5, 2023
.
Paid media rooms of the rebel Rapid Support militia promoted a fabricated video of captives being killed in cold blood. This video has no relation to the Armed Forces in terms of the place of filming and the style of the speakers, which clearly indicates that they are members of the notorious militia.
The truth is that the captives who were killed are soldiers of the Armed Forces who were captured by the militia in previous times.
The rebel militia quickly issued a statement with false content in an attempt to attribute its terrible crime to the Sudanese Armed Forces, which is known for its spotless record in respecting international humanitarian law, the customs and laws of war, and its strict adherence to the rules of engagement.
These fabricated clips and misleading statements come within the framework of a rabid campaign to falsify facts and attempts to evade its black record of violations against our people, defenseless civilians, which affected even retired military personnel, and all segments of Sudanese society.
This campaign prepared by the rebels and their supporters will not deceive the intelligence of the honorable citizen, who stands as witness to their crimes that they have documented themselves since the beginning of their ill-fated rebellion, which qualifies them to be classified as a terrorist organization that has committed unprecedented violations throughout the history of our country, ancient and modern.
