Qatar Charity implemented a new qualitative humanitarian intervention to support orphaned children and those who have lost support and parental care after they were transferred to the city of Wad Madani following the recording of a number of deaths in the Maigoama House following the intensification of battles in Khartoum.<\/p>\n
Qatar Charity presented a project to save children\u2019s lives by providing food, basic medicines, laboratory requirements, environmental health, and children\u2019s supplies at the House, in addition to paying incentives to mothers and the medical and administrative staff working at the House for two months. Ms. Zainab Abu Jouda, Director of the Children\u2019s House in Maigoama, revealed that they evacuated the House which located in Khartoum West after going through severe hardship following the outbreak of war on 15th of April and the destruction of many buildings around the House, she indicated that several deaths had occurred among children for many reasons, including lack of food and medicine, so they then decided to leave for Wad Madani city after the Gezira State government provided an alternative House in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development in Khartoum, UNICEF and the Red Cross.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
